Please help spec a 23/24" monitor with speakers

My Dad has tasked me with finding him a good monitor, but it has to have built in speakers. (I know sound quality will be poor, but he's OK with that).

Budget ~£200
24" preferable but 23" is fine.
General browsing use, with some basic photo editing.
Good warranty period would be a plus.

Without the speakers I could probably spec just using the threads on here but this requirement makes things a bit more difficult. Any ideas?

The iiyama website appears to indicate that their monitors have speakers but I'm struggling to understand their model variations.

I would recommend (rather highly) the ViewSonic VX2450WM-LED. We recently chose the VX2250WM as our monitor of the month because it is an exeptional monitor for the price. For your dad's uses it's great because the image is clear with good brightness and relatively accurate colours using default settings. LED backlights also tend to outlast the standard CCFL bulbs so it's good if your dad wants a monitor that lasts. I can't say much for the quality of the built-in speakers, but they are there. Overall it's an efficient monitor with very good image quality for the price and an attractive design that may or may not appeal to your dad.

I'd suggest the Dell U2311 if you can stretch another £50.

Decent IPS screen.

No built-in speakers and around £80 more than the ViewSonic.

Thanks for your reply mate - that sounds like just the job.
The speaker quality wont be an issue.
