I just bought a 3D TV.......

Cant see the point in buying a new tv just now for 3D, particularly with the likes of Google TV around the corner, which will be a far greater step in tech.

I never heard of this till you mentioned it, however upon reading about it, it sounds like a great idea.

I just hope it works out!

I have to say it, its consumers like you who are eager to have the latest and greatest thing but not knowing how to use it or use it to its maximum capabilities.

Current 3D will not take off. Eyestrain is one of the reasons.

If they make a 3Dtv somehow without eyestrain, the need for glasses and as clear as normal 1080p pictures, then it might do.

I'll only be looking into 3D when you don't need to wear glasses.
Sorry but I sometimes have friends and family over - I cannot afford to have 8 sets of glasses!

I'm more than happy with HD.
The manufacturers will tell you 3D isn't a fad - it's down to the consumer, not the manufacturer to actually make that decision.
But when we've got people going out and buying 3D TV's without having any kind of 3D source you can see the manufacturers are laughing at the moment.
