Bead balancing agents in UK?

Your best bet for perfectly balanced wheels in the UK is to find somebody with a Hunter GSP9000 Road Force Balancing Machine.

Well no balancing is required, so buy the required amounts, pass the information on to your tyre fitter and ask them to put these beads inside your tyres.

I wonder if you can hear these beads, though.

I can imagine some dodgy mechanic putting the incorrect amount in the tire, then arguing the toss with you that theres something else wrong with your car rather than admitting to his own mistakes.

With the correct amount in there, are they silent over the road/tyre noise?

Reading that I guess it makes sense why they are used in Canada! Snow would freeze very solidly on the rims etc which would throw out the balance hence the need for some kind of dynamic balancing system. I don't really have a problem with tyre balance here but the weights do look a bit naff on the rims!

Are there any chains that use these across the board?

Also, with wheel balancing, is it a standard thing now to use those inside weights that stick on? Is it an extra cost or do they only do the clip to the outside style ones still?

http://www.dynabeads.co.uk/ probably best dropping them an email and seeing if they can help

from there site

Q: Why don't you have tyre charts for cars or SUV's?

A: We do not market to cars and SUV’s intentionally.
The main reason (among others) is due to the style of modern car tyres.
For cars and SUV’s, traditional weight balancing is the best method.

They need to update their FAQ if you click on car tyres on the front page it has the tyre charts

I have used them on a lorry as spinning a wheel that size can be a bit dangerous. The worked great and they will adjust for any other knocks that the wheels take, well up to a point. I found no extra noise with them but after the racket the unbalanced wheel was making I don't think i would have really noticed.
