Do you and Fox have sleep overs?
The bit where I want to be a nob because of what Fox said in his original post in this thread, IE why should he get away with slating someones car when its clearly not the car thats at fault it was the person who's driving it, he should learn to take as much as he gives out and you should learn not to get upset when he does

As a driver as a low powered car, with 88BHP it's hard enough completing an overtake of a tractor, let a lone a two car overtake so I can appreciate why he managed to make an epic balls up of it. Lesson learned, I hope.
Or would a larger capacity engine a couple more cylinders and a BMW badge have got him round safely in the same situation?
I had a 1.1 Punto Mk1 and i can totally appreciate how somebody could have rolled the damn thing.![]()
Forget the larger capacity engine and more cylinders, i think he would have been fine with just the BMW badge. It adds at least 100bhp.
Although i have heard a rumour that ///M3 or ///M5 badges combined with "the power resistor of justice" add 150bhp...

something common here,
i have also rolled a mk1 punto- albeit in 1.4GT trim
What would an m3 and m5 badge do?!
Its a factor but the car doesnt make a decision to overtake does it, the person driving it does
Yeah I said the BMW in response to what he said to me yesterday, how come this guy gets away with saying and doing what ever he likes yet others others get castrated as soon as they dare respond?

Having said that I had a 1.2 Punto Mk2 and have no idea how someone could possible have rolled it.
Has everybody else here missed the point that the OP's friend did nothing wrong? the guy in the pug sped up when he pulled alongside, if he had held his speed like he should the OP's friend would have passed him and pulled in safely, instead the OP's friend had no choice but to try and accelerate past and swerve in before the oncoming car hit him.
