Min voltage for i7 930 2.8?

At the moment I have it at 1.152v and its at stock clock speed with turbo enabled, so its at 2.931ghz. The VID says 0.800V-1.375V, but that isnt much use to me. If I leave it set to auto it puts it to 1.248v.

Mileage will vary but I reckon you could probably lower it a little further than that. My 920 is overclocked to 3.57 w/Turbo enabled and it's at 1.088v vcore. To be honest I've never tried undervolting the chip at stock but I've seen some configs with sub 1v settings (although can't find them at the moment).

You cant mate on the i7 to my current knowledge.

Well Ive put it at 1.216v and it seems pretty happy there, plus its running a few c cooler now too. I would put it down more but its not my pc, I cant believe on auto, it was 1.248.
