Chilean rescue mission on BBC news in 6 hours

Been watching since about 3AM, amazing stuff. Bit of a lump in my throat seeing the kid hug his dad after 2 months :(:D Hope they all get out safely and get back to their families :) Nice to see a president who is there in the thick of it aswell.

No, are you going to email them or shall I ?, because people who are watching from behind may be expecting a miner to pop forth only to be witnessing the descent. Fools.

The problem is that it takes about an hour to prep everything then you get 20 seconds or rescued miner. Sky have nothing to report so you just get total drivel. I imagine they are flying Kate burley and gazza out as we speak then the whole sorry episode will be complete.

I was watching the terrible reporting on this last night before bed

I saw one miner come out thanking God n what not... I did think to myself "why not thank the enormous human effort that ultimately saved you..."

I guess in his time of need underground, maybe his God did help him through... or what he thought was God and was actually his own willpower got him through... Oh well, ho hum!
 
There another 24 hours of this, god knows what it will be like by then.

Same here, they keep saying the same things over and over and over again.

Why the roll-eyes, do you have some dust from the mine in them? I suggest washing them. :p

No. He's happy to be alive and rescued.
