Any idication of when the 10.10 ATI drivers are due?

Lets hope it fixes the L4D2 black screen full system lock crash.

Had a little instability with steam lately (CS:S and slightly with L4D2), don't know the reason why, at least not for sure. In all fairness in my case it could be my cpu overclock. I will download the new driver when it arrives so as to make a comparison.

May be due to steam updates, can't see it being directly a driver issue, 10.4 has been very good for me.

only problems i've had of late with steam games is the 1st 2 chapters of the sacrifice, they never give me more than 25fps, whereas the finale, and all other campaigns work flawlessly...

For any one having issues with their crossfire set ups, you could try* (experiment) just installing the display drivers and the application profiles and see if that improves things.

When I had my 3870x2, thats what I used to do, and 9/10 times everything was perfect.

In the 2 years I had the card only had one drivers which caused major issues with BFBC2 and that was 10.6. (I was getting grey and black flashing screens on levels, whilst being able to hear people and seeing the green objective makers only)

The first thing to do when experinece instability, is to look directly at your overclocks.

Make sure cpu is prime stable, around 5-8 hours continous test. (You prob already know this, but its what I would do)

Also if youv got overclocks on the gpu, try at stock...

I would suggest the Wednesday 20th as the date when the drivers are due, what with the 22nd being the supposed release date of some of the 6xxx cards. They'll need driver support after all.
