And before anybody says it, the preservatives argument is pointless, as McDonalds thrown anything out thats not eaten within 10 minutes. I used to work there and saw it done religiously. The amount of food that gets wasted :/

I don't think that's down to freshness, more the impact of fats cooling and the effect on the appearance/'taste'.

If we had pumped the untold billions into doing that I'm sure we would have made the lives of millions better and less people would want to kill us... however we (the goverment) chose to kill people in two countries for no real reaon... and also in the process get 100's of our own people killed and maimed..

we pumped until billions into aid projects in Africa, the only result is now they're slightly better fed as the engage in civil wars that have killed more people than WW2.
