Best PSN+ update yet. How much were these DLC add ons each?

- fallout 3 DLC -
will be free to PS+ owners for a week from the following dates

13 October
Fallout 3: Point Lookout
Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta
Fallout 3: Operation: Anchorage

20 October
Fallout 3: Broken Steel
Fallout 3: The Pitt

Thats pretty good actually, they were about £7 each but the GOTY edition came with them all anyway, though that is a very broken game...

But who still has a non goty edition of fallout 3 and hasn't already got the dlc if they wanted it.

Anyone coming to the game now would buy the goty edition.

It's a pretty weak PSN+ incentive. That Sam & Max one from a few weeks ago; now that was a sweet deal.

I need to finish point lookout so good for me :D:D:D .

I personally think sony are doing a good job with PSN+. Giving away free games, dlc etc.
MS give away bugger all for free with gold live:mad:

Why would MS give you games? You're paying for access to the Xbox Live network not for a subscription to receive content off the marketplace...

Can't even be bothered getting into the whole live vs PSN debate. I just don't think live is worth what we have to pay for it.

*edit*
I think sony have got PSN right. Playing online is free for everybody,if you want extras you have to pay. Instead of the MS method of - you get nothing at all for free and even the basics will cost you.

Agreed, I know where you're coming from.

And PSN+ users can get hustle kings for half the price this month and if you've got a move kit that is well worth a punt. A very good game of pool /Snooker can be had with this.

As for Fallout 3 DLC, some haven't got the GOTY edition and if like me, I've actually just picked up a second hand copy of Fallout 3 for less then a tenner and now I get all the DLC for it for free, I'll play it when I've got time.. Get it whilst I can, seeing as I paid £40 for the service..

But then I did get Super Street Fighter HD this month, oh and last month Sam n Max, oh and Rachet and Clank quest for booty and some minis oh and some classic PSone games...

Think i've had my £40 worth back in content.. lol

Am I right in saying that you can use the stuff you download with PSN+ as long as you subcirbe and not keep it forever?

I believe so. As long as you renew, any content you download you can keep on using, but let the sub lapse and you can no longer play the content you download via PSN.

discounted software you can keep and software without an expiration date can be kept as well...

TBH, £40 a year isn't too bad as over time your catalogue of PSN + titles will grow and for me some of the titles my gf can play.. Like the PSone title this month, some ball bouncing game. she love its..

I'd be pretty miffed if you continue after 12 months and all the previous content stopped working..

I knew someone would say that...

I for one only had one of the DLC packs previous to this, so I've saved a massive amount with this, on top of what I've already got from PS+ this month.

But hey!

Oh give me a break. How can you not think this a good deal?

You make a good point but there are always people that have the vanilla copy of Fallout 3 that haven't bought any of the DLC yet.

Thats a pretty specific group of people though, I doubt its a large percentage of the psn subscribers.

I dont think you really can please all of the people even some of the time but as an xbox owner I can see that is a great freebie.

Xbox makes developers charge for DLC even if they dont want to... :(
