Daily Mail rubbish

90% of the Daily Mail headlines or major stories seem to include a twisted, biased take on those subjects :p

They also like to put caps on certain words. For example:

"Did you turn out the lights? Fellow mine rescuers hail unsung hero who was FIRST down the shaft and the LAST man up"
"Police issue E-fit to catch the NINE-YEAR-OLD who tried to steal another child's scooter"
"Middle class hit AGAIN as tax relief on pensions is slashed to £50,000"
"Tweet crime initiative: Police force Twitters EVERY incident over 24-hour period "

I don't know why, it just annoys me :(

Which is what makes the DM website great. I'm on their daily as its always got half nakey ladies and the bra burners who comment are hilarous

"I fink it is disgustin that this is shown wen kids are watchin it is nothin but porn and shud be shown after the waters head
i remmeber the good old days of family telly like sid james and carry on an benny hill
nothin like this filf"
:D

It is a ridiculous newspaper but you cant ban someone from posting a thread about its content. Thats called communism you Kim Jong Il hugger.

If you dont like it dont go into the thread, other people may find it interesting or funny.

And by the way OP, i was absolutely rivited by your "Spec me a pen" thread.

Agreed it should be banned here. If a thread is to be started then find another news source.

Why, are you stuck up like all the rest? All but a few read it but just don't admit to it. The majority can’t tell the difference between a quality newspaper and toilet paper. It's the "in thing" to moan about. ;):p

I don't see the problem, the sensationalism that pours from their teapot suits this forum tbh.

People joke by saying 'Send them back' or 'This country is doomed' etc but truth is there are people on here that feel that way, people that are ready to defend this country from the Muslim takeover ;-P

You yourself of course been very fond of sensationalism but only when it's on your side of the argument. ;)

I half joked to myself that you might spout out some crap after I posted, and not only that you've written practically the same thing as you wrote last time after I 'supposedly criticised the masses', I'm really not sure what your fascination is with me tbh, I already explained myself last time and I'm not going to do it again, if you actually direct some of your analytical skills on yourself instead of everyone else you might actually improve your life somewhat instead of being addicted to this forum and addicted to trying to put people down on here for the sake of false self betterment because of lack of self-worth and esteem, your are a resourceful and intelligent person, use that to be a better person rather than being an ******* all the time, it just gets tiresome seriously.

last time i paraphrased one of your posts about how all religious people where deranged, after you spouted some bull about people putting others down or generalisations or whatever you were pmsing about at the time.

I have no fascination with you, i merely noticed your post.

although one could say that having a weird fascination with someone would be adding them to msn to have a drunken rant at them for a forum post but we don't know anyone who would do that do we lowridder ;)

i find people who try to disguise their put downs in some pusdo psychological crap quite amusing if you want to put someone down like you've tried quite a few times you should at least be honest about it.

actually on second though

could well be construed as you trying to put yourself above everyone else here on your own little moral high ground couldn't it?

, use that to be a better person rather than being an ******* all the time, it just gets tiresome seriously.

like that ^.

but irl I'm very nice, it's just on here your hypocrisy is far more prominent so far more irritating.

Only a foolish narrow minded person would dismiss a news article because of the site its on. I read several news sites a day, pick out the facts and form my own opinion - I don't dismiss a source because I don't like what it has to say.

Someone that dismisses news because of the paper it's in, regardless of accuracy is just as narrow minded as the source they treat with disdain.

Some people on here foam at the mouth more about the source, than the journalist does that wrote the news article they're posting about! :o

Part of everyone's mandatory education should be to review the PCC website and to type "[newspaper] libel damages" into Google to see how much crap the papers print and are taken to task for, it might give them an idea on quite how 'trustworthy' the papers are.

The issue with the Daily Mail is it is desperate to portray itself as a serious source of news reporting and a fair proportion of the readers also seem to treat it that way as exempt from criticism, when their antics and shoddy journalistic standards place them firmly amongst, if not leading, the red-tops in terms of gutter reporting.
