I'd be right on this with you :p

Fox is right, hire us and we'll punt the motors for you. We wont need a Glass's guide, Fox can do the values and specs in his head.

That way Mark you can just sit back and relax. We can have a Motors section on the Diamond Cars website, and in his spare time Fox can moder... oh wait :D

Also i will have to look at this credit licence business, see what depresses me is my boy should be on top of all this, not ****ing about playing play station with his girl friend.

Put him on a commission only rate for 6 months & stick to it.

Soon learn if he has got anything about him or not.

I tell you my boy depresses me, **** it though you got to laugh.

Anyway he was enthusiastic earlier, i think perhaps hes more a 9-5 kid, you know the energy trails off at 5 :)

That wont work, hes going to be halfs in this, i dont want another business, i want him to do this and im going to stroll out 3 times a day to see how we are doing.

Anyway he reccons hes keen, we shall see.

If it all goes wonky it hasnt cost anything.

Jez has the right idea, small medium cars are great for selling, I had a nice side line of selling motors a few years ago, I mainly sold 306's back then, its frustrating and enjoyable at the same time!

My old fella's started up a little setup selling and repairing now aswell, I know VX's are ****, but my god they dont half sell well, and A class mercs for some odd reason.

I miss the car trade, wish I had the capitol to start another side line.

Enjoy mate, looks like ur gonna be the salesman tho!

Not as much as he annoys me, heres the thing, im 44 and im still buzzing, new adventure and all that.

Not him, he just said to me, exact words "well what do you want me to do, they are all closed now, who can i ring"

Well i dont know, research or something, not mario super cart though for ****s sake.

Take his Maserati away, chuck the console through the window and nut him. He may snap out of his coma and actually wonder whats crawled up Dads arse.

You'll have to interact with poor people, sometimes touch their hands but the glaze in their bovine eyes and the cheeky grins on their grubby little faces when they drive away will all be worth it.

Good luck.

Cheers man, i do love a plan.

Good luck to you and your son Mark. Make sure you get some steel toecap boots to really reinforce that kick up your sons arse :)

He throws away the opportunities many here would kill for and every time you reward him with things most here only dream of :(

I know but what am i gonna do? I sound like a stuck record but every day this same thing niggles me.

Anyway we will see, i think this might be the one that catches a bit of interest.

Its a shame his sister wants to be hairdresser, shes more keen than him ;)

Lead by example.
Call Jez at 8:00pm.
Sell him the Maserati.
Explain initiative.
Laugh at tears.

Fett i had a fight with him last year and knocked him out, iv tried everything from that backwards, nothing works.

I swear to god id be living the dream if it wasnt for him, it eats me, i cant describe it any other way.

I'm not in a position to comment on the parenting skills of what sounds like a grown man taking the ****, but selling him to the Armenians is probably worth a shot.

Do something different than usual? E.g take the car away.

Iv done all that, sacked him the lot, he just mopes about with a long face till his mother tells me to reinstate him.

Anyway **** it, we will give this a go and see what happens.

He who dares wins :)

With free delivery on ebay :)

The trials of parenthood.

My old man had visions of me taking over his business on retirement......

Oh well...... :o
