bad smell coming from the power supply vent...

In the last hour or so a very bad (burning?) smell is coming from the Power supply vent. .. Im guessing this is very very bad?:) Last time this happended it shut it self off and didnt come back on lol

if it is on its way out... will this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-000-XF be enough to run 5870 crossfired? lol or a single 6870?:P any one know?

is this 2 different psus then youve had trouble with? how old wer/are they?

if this has happened twice then maybe you have dodgy electric going into your house. if this is the case i wouldnt go near that xfx black edition. its OCP didnt kick in the 2nd time it was tested and it blew up. this happened on a couple tested.

this review was a year ago and theres other reviews that says its fine but with your history of burning smells and knocking off and not coming back on i wouldnt risk it.

Its the 2nd psu in the last two years. the first went about a week after having it. the second (this one) this is the RMA of the first. TBH i think its just a bit of a crap psu. :(
