That right, we have a chance of a new Flatout getting release on the PC. A friend of mine sent me a link to a new Flatout for the Wii that being work on by Team6:

'FlatOut' (Wii) - New Screens

New 'FlatOut' (ALL) Installment In Development

After checking out these links, thought I should find out if there will be a PC version. I found out Team6 will need to get a green light form Zoo Games before they could get going on a new PC version of Flatout.

So this where we need the help of the FlatoutGRID derby racing communitys, please take the time to send an email to Zoo Games, asking Zoo Games to please give Team6 the green light to make a PC version of the new Flatout for the Wii. Here a link to contact page:

Here link to a Moddb news post I did:

Purple44 from Flatout Joint. Long time Flatout manic.

It is only a Wii version... which in my mind means low budget and not a "true" entry in the series.

Keep it on the Wii is what I say :)

Also, Zoo games are not known for releasing AAA titles.

If Bugbear were making this, then it would be a different story but if they were, it would be a premium title being released on the 360, PS3 AND PC anyway.

BugBear was working on Flatout 3 back in 2008, then BugBear went quiet and then Empire Interactive went out of business and sold the Flatout rights to Zoo Games. It a shame that BugBear is not doing the Flatout series no more. :(

But if Team6 get the green light to make PC version of Flatout, I hope Team6 will use Ultimate Carnage code and just convert the Wii Flatout to UC code and graphics.

Zoo games dont have the ability to make a true "current gen" Flatout title.

They mostly make "quick to market" DS and Wii games.

The $1000000 question is, what is Bugbear doing now? I've been trying to find out for few years now but they have leaked pretty much nothing. Even my contact within the company seems to have disappeared. I'm still hoping for a Rally Trophy sequel :|

Dev from Team6 say they want to make a PC version and if they can use UC code, should not be to much trouble to convert Wii version to PC.

Ultimate Carnage level graphics would be plenty fine for me. Don't need to have GRID level graphics. Just need to have a new game that has derby pits and hopefully Hunter\Prey mode that was unlock in Community Mod for Flatout 2 but BugBear did not finish and include in Ultimate Carnage.

Platforms other than Wii are on their way. If you've got good ideas, this is the place to post them

Now that the cat out of the bag, I can tell you guys Team6 is working on a PC version of Flatout and I have been told it will be bigger and better than the Wii version.

So you got ideas for a new Flatout, be sure to go post them here at this link:

FlatOut Wii

Look like we got Zoo Games attention!

Maybe I might get my idea for a new figure 8 track into the new Flatout. :)

Oh god why on earth would you want a Wii port, pretty sure it'll be ****. If it was actually going to be a good game then no doubt they would have made it for 360/pc/ps3. The fact that it was made for the console that has a very large proportion of shovelware speaks volumes.

I have been talking to a Team6 Dev and he has assure me, the PC version of Flatout will not be just a port of the Wii. They know they got some big shoes to fill to please the Flatout manics at Flatout Joint.

I don't expect to see Ultimate Carnage quality graphics since Team6 is writing the code from scratch, but graphic quality should at least match Flatout 2. Zoo Games only got the rights to the Flatout name, they did not get BugBear's Ultimate Carnage code to use or the third Flatout that BugBear was working on before the doors closed.

And there a good chance there will be no GFWL. I have let Team6 know how I feel about GFWL. GRRR

I absolutely loved 1 & 2 & UC, but after looking at the back catalogue of Team6, I can't really say I'm that excited about this tbh :(

im also hooked on flatout since buying it on steam for £1.70, dont't normally buy car games but at this price i had too!!!

and how do i get a good score on high jump and ski-slope!!! i know about nudge, i entered in fast and aimed high but can't get past the 120 area on the jump!
