All Fallout 3 DLC Free for PS+ owners

It's just like the typical OcUK trolls to come in and say how crap this deal is though, what are Bethesda or Sony meant to do? Go through every person signed up to PS+ and make sure they haven't already got the Fallout 3 DLC's? Please...

I've got the Game of the Year edition, and when I saw the DLC's being offered for free even though I own them I thought "wow, what a deal", that's over £20 of content for nothing. Some people are clearly never happy though. :rolleyes:

Oh come on I'm talking about something more geared towards the majority than something that will only benefit a small number of people. How many people are too tight to have the game but not get the dlc or GOTY but pay for a psn subscription? Hardly any I'd imagine. The Fallout DLC is worth a lot less with the sequel been released either this week or next as well. Stop trying to rubbish other peoples opinions when they give valid reasons.

Without any figures I'm afraid your reasons aren't valid at all. You simply saying "most Fallout 3 players already have the DLC they want" does not give any indication as to how many people are going to benefit from the free DLC's. Also, why would someone come into a thread such as this one purely to complain about it? You're the one that's said most people who have PS+ and Fallout 3 already have the DLC's, why don't you prove it?
 
A thread entitled "All Fallout 3 DLC Free for PS+ owners" shoul allow people to give an opinion on the worth of it as long as its well constructed.

I'm not going to go looking for figures or data to back up what should be common sense. I'm not saying there arn't somepeople that won't enjoy this, just that in my opinion the vast majority of psn subscribers won't and since they pay the same amount of money sony should release something with wider appeal. My original point was that this isn't the "best psn update yet" in my opinion.

So this is just an extra bonus along with the PS+ subscribers exclusive Killzone 3 Beta opportunity. I don't see why you need to be in this thread only to say "most PS+ subscribers won't be affected by this". It doesn't add anything to the thread other than unnecessary negativity.

I'm not going to say its the best thing since bon jovi if it isn't. I still have an interest as a gamer and ps3 owner in the quality of these updates.
 
Nice update :) It's something that wasn't previously announced for this months ps+ update so is a bonus, it's free, it's unexpected, it's pretty decent and adds an element of variety to the stuff Sony has been offering ps+ subscribers rather than the more generic wider appeal stuff.
 
haha, Love these threads. Everytime a deal comes up, you get people coming in saying its crap what they're offering. It's like a law!

The point is overall, It should cost! Now it doesnt when on PSN+

If you have fallout 3 and wanted the addons, Woo! You get them free now! If you have GOTY you have them already, ohwell, Let's see what comes next time on PSN+

What do you want Sony to do? A 50 question survey to the PSN+ owners and release specifically to each members desire?? Obviously that would be awesome, and completely ridiculous, but it would seem its expect by some!
 
I still need to get PS+ but I have to say this month's update has been excellent much like the previous months :)

I keep holding of, semi expecting a crap update forthcoming ;-/
 
I think PSN+ is worth the money and worth while having. I was going to get it myself. The only reason I didn't is that I sometimes struggle to find the time to play the 'proper' games that I have. there's a few boxed games that can be had for peanuts that I'd like to buy but don't because I still have a handfull that I am playing now.
 
Did anyone get the second lot? Just checked and its not free for PSN+ members anymore. I swear the first lot was up for a couple of weeks but I didnt notice the second lot went up and if it did it must have been only for a week (20th-27th?)
