Few mates have seen GnR tonight, and are at London Bridge and need to get to Twickenham!

Checked on google maps, says the only way is to get a bus to Stansted and then back into London :(

Any other ideas?

Taxi or start walking. That, or they can camp up outside/inside a station for the night and jump on the first train in the morning. Not ideal if they have somewhere to be though.

No night buses around? Cba looking as I'm half asleep, but there should be one going to Twickers I would imagine?

A cripplingly large amount, especially if they just jump in the nearest black cab. Would suggest they ring a taxi company and get a cab, that will be cheaper, although saying that it will still be rather expensive (lots, but definately not £100, and never did it suggest here that it would be...)

If they phone a taxi company probably a lot less than £100. Done similiar journeys for less than half that. If you jump in the nearest black cab tho yeah easily over £60.

Really? Hmmm I'll be quiet then, I was under the impression taxis would be extremely expensive. If there are a few of them then that would seem the best idea :)

I'm going to bed then...

...*sulks away*...

it always sucked to get back to twickenham when i lived round there and that was 15 years ago! nice to see public transport in london has improved.

Cant you get a night bus to somewhere close and then a cab last bit of the way?

Well, they've only got a few options.

1. Wait for the trains to start running again.
2. Cab.
3. Mate picks them up.
4. Night bus.
5. Hitch a lift and get rap ... have an interesting evening.

That's pretty much it.

Yeah - I'm pretty sure its possible to do it with 2 bus routes and a little walking but its a few years since I was out that way so don't know the current routes :S
