Amazing just amazing!!
Personally it had quite an impact on me. Massive admiration to the engineering ingenuity that made this possible.
The design of the escape pod by the Chilean Navy was brilliant as was the rapid response by the rescue team once it was realized the miners were alive. I take my hat off to the miners for holding it together for 69 days, immense discipline shown by them. For once it was nice to wake up to news with some happiness in it. I hope that capsule is put in a museum!
Excellent job by the Chileans...they had everything covered so well and excecuted it in military fashion. Did you see the checks of the capsule they did...and the people riding in it?! Like pre-flighting an airplane!
Congratulations to the American expert whose Plan B drilling teams rig broke through.
