I have an idea for a product to be sold in shops.

As far as I know there is nothing like it. I can say that it is food based and would be similar in packaging to a box of aspirins with similar content.

I've no idea how I could make it happen, and because the product is a different take on how it is done would it be possible to patent?

Without telling you, it is really hard to describe, and I don't think it will be easy to grasp from this post. Any pointers would be great.

So you have an idea of having food in pill form of an aspirin? Or flavour paracetamol?

Unless it's a drug you can't patent it, I don't think you can patent food if that makes any sense.

There was another lad, who's got the laser cutter and patented an invention I think. So he went straight to a toy firm and for royalties sold them the idea if that makes any sense.
