There was a ferret running around our street, we managed to catch it and have it in a cage for the time being.

It seems quite tame and only looks young, we don't know of anyone in the local area that may have lost one.

We tried the RSPCA number but they only seem to be open Mon-Fri.

Does anyone know of any ferret rescue centers in Staffordshire that I could call?

Cheers

Northerners and their everyday happenings.....

We get it all in Stoke.
About 30 minutes ago 'our' squirrel was chasing a magpie round the garden but the magpie was just keeping out of range and teasing it.
It was well funny.
Last night when I got in about 2am in the morning I had to dash straight into the back garden to relieve myself and nearly ran into 2 foxes.
It's like being in the country.

A young couple had been buying me bottles of Newcastle Brown all night because they liked my singing and about 13 miles from home I was bosting for a pee.
I just about made it to my back garden grid.
There was no time for keys, running upstairs and possibly trying to get somebody out of the bathroom.

That's what your kitchen sink is for.

Honestly, some of those folk up there have no clue

Thought you meant something entirely different by 'releive myself' ;)

I read it as Ferret "sound" in Stoke. I thought there was some sort of alarm or siren going off across stoke sounding like a Ferret... whatever a ferret sounds like??

To use the sink I would have to get a chair out of the living room to stand on.
(and yes I have)

Man, that's a high sink. Mine could probably do with being raised a bit, since it's so deep that reaching the bottom requires a little stretching, but the top's just the right height that I can rest my cushion on the lip, leaving my hands free to roll a ciggie.

Or so I'd imagine, I don't know.
