Hi

I'm about to build a new pc that will be used mainly for gaming. I don't need a monitor or OS and I would like to spend around £500 for everything. Here is what I came up with already:

I appreciate any suggestions.

Yeah I know, I would not use the one that comes with case :p Anyway I decided to pick Coolermaster 430. Last question: If im not planning to overclock CPU, will I need something better than the stock cooler? Thanks guys for quick replies. ;)

Stock cooler is fine even if you want to do a mild overclock. If you want it to run a little cooler or plan on overclocking then get a separate one. To be honest though I would just get with stock to start with then decide sometime down the line if you want one.

I would personally be tempted to do it the other way around. Buy an after-market cooler now. You could pick a reasonably good one for <£20 for example the CM Hyper 212. It'll save you a hassle in the long term with dismantling and clean thermal paste etc. But as pointed out with a stock cooler you could do a slight overclock without any issues depending of course on what the temps are.

Spend less on the cpu.
Spend less on the psu [400 corsair etc should be around £40]

And put an order in for the 6850 next week which should be <£150.

Consider getting the 1gb 460 if you can stretch that far, the performance boost is considerable and defiantly worth the money imo.
