noob question, but, I looked into this before, downloaded some profile file, installed it but nothing seemed to happen/change....can anyone help me out? I've made my own custom profiles before but it didn't add any. How does it apply the new profiles, is it when you start the game?

I have a 4870x2.

Will download the new ones once they become available.

Application Profiles are driver level game performance & compatibility profiles that can be updated separately from the drivers & the Application Profiles exe is executed when a game is run without user intervention.

Its not in anyway linked to the Profiles Manager in CCC.

They should appear in your add/remove programs list physichull.

They also load with the games automatically IIRC
