Well no it is very immoral, taking advange etc.
No different than if i go around convincing seriously depressed people to kill themselves.
That said, i like ideas that are immoral purely because they are, so +1

Considering we have a social 'protection' system that currently rewards people for breeding offspring they can't/won't care for and can't/won't afford, the moral hazard argument already exists in this one...

In my working capacity we deal with a lot of kids from backgrounds of parental drug abuse the cost to state for the care and upbringing of these kids is astronomical caters going in themorning to make sure kids are up and dressed for school as the parents are incapable taxis and social workers to take said kids to school as again parents aren't fit to
Hate to say it but the best thing the government could do is give addict heroin on prescription and lace it with birth control additives would certainly save a fortune in the long term crime would drop dramatically as would care costs for children who if their lucky end up in care if their not follow in the parents footsteps

It's a pretty blunt solution. Because a person gets involved in drugs at one stage in their life they should dispense with their ability to pass on their genes - our prime reason to exist. Bribe them when they are most vulnerable, providing them money to deepen their issues. Make sure you do nothing to actually help them.

It does provoke a lot of emotion and thought but sterilisation isn't something I can agree with.
That said, there are a lot of people I have dealt with in a work capacity that should never have children.
