Right to cut a long story short a mate of mine has had his card used fraudulently online. The scammer used the names.co.uk website to register a website www.thegaymembersclub.com

Hes been advised by the banks fraud department to contact the police which hes doing tomorrow, but is there any way we can find out who set up the website or where in the country it was created?

Thanks guys ( and gals ) :p

That is indeed the details of my mate :(
?

Thought so, who in their right mind commits credit card fraud with their own details?

I mean most places would turn you down if your name and address didn't match the cards.

Edited my post to remove your mates details :)

Sure it's not a mate having a laugh with him?

names.co.uk will probably have the IP address from which the fraudster FTPd the files from in their logs, as-well as the IP they bought the package from, and the email address they used when buying the package which the host then emailed them the FTP details :).

It does seem like a bit of a prank site... Anyway, spam the contact us page
