Hey,

my pre overclocked i5 760@4ghz is running at around 100 degress at load!

This cant be normal right i bought this computer (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-252-OK&groupid=43&catid=1444&subcat=) pre overclocked and i don't understand why it is running so hot i have seen on other forums people being stable at load at 4ghz at around temps of 65 degrees c.

Any ideas??

Thanks!

Some OCCT stress tests.

Likely CPU cooler is incorrectly seated or CPU fan is not spinning properly, but use RealTemp to double check CPU temperatures.

Ouch! Was the system fully assembled or did you mount the CPU cooler yourself? Your minimums/idle are ridiculous too, which would point to poorly mounted cooler. All fans running, and in correct directions? What are your cpu core and other voltages (qpi/vtt, RAM etc)?

it looks like this system wil have suffered damage in transit.

have you inspected the internals?

if the cpu cooler has taken a kock then it wont be doing its job properly

send us a webnote/call us/post here

and we can support the problems you are having through the official channels

Hi,

As said before 100c is way way too hot, a friend has a prebuilt ocuk overclock and it gets nowhere near that much. Perhaps the courier spent too much time dancing with your parcel instead of delivering it and the heatsink is dislodged.

I think a don replied above me, do as he says though and ocuk can sort it out for you!

100c is way too high, My i5 760@4GHz runs at 30-33c idle and 65c-69c on load.

As rjkoneill suggested, best to contact them.

WOW thats a lot of voltage for a i5 760.. I dont use anywhere near that for even 980x Overclocks..

the overclocked i5 760 bundle(i5 760+Asus P7P55D-E+Corsair Dominator 4GB DDR3 1600MHz) i got from OCUK use's 1.408V

Corespeed: 4018 MHz
Multi: x21.0
Bus Speed: 191.3 MHz
QPI Link: 3444.9 MHz

Should i be worried?
