Just some helpful advice i found when fitting my block that may help you.
Make sure you have the correct screwdrivers, the screws used on graphics cards are often made of very cheap metal and are easy to round/shear. Don't try to "get away" with using a philips on a posi screw head for example, it's a sure fire way of stripping the head.
I found the removing the film from the thermal pads fiddly especially after i had been handling it a bit and they had warmed, 5 mins in the fridge cooled it down and stopped it sticking so much.
I used a small dab of thermal paste to hold the plastic supports in place when fitting the card, makes lining the block up easy.
Double check everything before you commit and if it doesnt feel right don't force it.
I hadn't done a gpu block before my build and although it was a bit fiddly it wasn't too difficult. Just take your time and enjoy it
