Would you say this was an ok price for a laptop screen replacement?

I charged £10 extra on the hourly rate for all laptop hardware repairs - So £45ph

so for the screen replacement, cost of new panel inc del and taxes + order surcharge + 1 hour for fitting

In fact, depending how busy I was, I might have quoted higher just to put them off as I hate laptop repairs.

Think a review of my charges are needed for normal customers to be honest to make it more worth my while.

I'd say this is very cheap, you know some companies charge around £100 just to reinstall OS.

Replacing a laptop screen is a 10-20 min job depending on the laptop but it's not something that can be done by everyone without any training first.

i would have though most laptop screens are all the same and replaced using the same methods in this case it should not take longer that 10mins max if you know what to do ?

If your happy with what you are charging why put the prices up , this is why people are happy with your service, putting prices up will mean less custom surely?

It's usually just a case of following the manual's instructions. Dell, for example, have their laptop service manuals available online. It's not hard, even for those who aren't computer minded, but of course many are uncomfortable doing it.
