Leaked 68xx benchmarks

Ill probs pick up a 2nd 5870 tbh. Dont play any Demanding games, COD, BC2, ArmA2 :/

come summer time though my upgraditis will be at an all time high so ill splash out on something awesome then :)
 
im going to do a side grade....to a 6870, mainly because i want a similar performance card that will allow me to watercool (my current 5850 isnt reference!!), im hoping it will only cost me £50ish after selling my card.

All depends on final pricing though, i might wait until the higher spec ones come out.

The only thing I think that has upset people is the naming convention, at best it's a serious oversight at worst it smacks of Nvidia tactics.

No-one will expect miracles with the 6xxx series as it's 40nm. I'm expecting cayman XT to be ~30% faster than 5870 but with much improved tesselation performance.

I'll be honest i'm just sick of waiting for the 6***, 5*** owners are making an issue out of nothing really. I'm running an 8800GTS! Honestly though, October, now November, then probably supply and demand issues. The 470 temptation grows daily i'm actually going to use the strange tactic of replacing my chair this month so that I cant buy the 470

I'm not upgrading, i'm happy with my 5970. I see no point in upgrading your 5 series card to a 6 series.
 
so are we likely to see 69xx benchmarks and specs come friday ?
or will they come later ?
