This might be an utter stupid question but i have just built my self a new machine and decided it was time to splash out on a higher end of the market Gfx card. Usally a low/med entry card does me fine but i decided to go for the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 OC 1024MB.

Now on to my question(s). I have seen a lot about how AA and how it can improve the quality of the graphics to the game.

1. How do i enable this - do i do this in game or via console
2. What is recommended - i have seen 2x 4x 6x :o all a little confused.
3. This will be running on a 24'' monitor (1920x1200) for in game - hopefully this card can handle this plus AA?

Just whack all in game settings to Max & see how the game runs. If its slow or you get any stutter then just reduce AA a tad.
What game/games are we talking about here ?

Any decent game will have anti aliasing in its options menu so you can just set it from there. If not you can force it in NV panel but may or may not work. As for the AA level the higher the better so just set it at the highest playable level.

Well at the moment im currently downloading from steam the new Medal of Honor. But usally i will be playing Battlfield, and Call of Duty.

Based on my old card i use to let it "recommend setting" everything. I assume i no longer decide on this option and try everything at MAX and work my way down if laggy?

Yeah, go for max. The card may have trouble with lots of smoke on screen but that should be about it.
