After about year of trying to upgrade all my pc and the money going on other things like gf laptop comes to mind lol

I got the last bits today and now i the got the fun of cleaning and rebuilding the pc

I think i saved little bit cash as there have been a few of price drops over the last few months so not all bad having to wait.

Love getting computer bits in the post, like christmas morning. Whats the rest of the spec of your machine? Pretty sure thats the 1090T, you planning on overclocking it?

I went with the 955 going to overclock the nuts off it

Well i have not had much time today to get much done just really cleaning it atm don't think i can finish it tonight getting late now been a long day

So far its just bits every where lol

The heatsink that comes with the 955 cpu really is small but i have a spare Titan Fenrir

As the first one that came had a few bent fins and the shop (not ocuk) just sent another one out and did not ask for the old one back lol i fixed the fins and have been using it in the old build

you should get 3.8 out of that 955 without to much trouble

I can run 3.8 undervolted on mine so it should be fairly easy to do.

My bad, thought it was only the 1090 that came in black boxes. Really should pay more attention.

Haha done it more times that I would like to admit. Almost without fail I forget to flick that switch. You would have though that you get used to them but I don't seem to.

Get some pics up asap, looks like it will be a nice set up

Not as clean with the cables as i would like but best i can do for now :cool:

I have OCed the cpu to 3.8 but Orthos only seems to stress 2 cores not all 4 ? (using prime now)

And if some one could take a look at this picture and check my ram and volts are not to high ?

3.8 settings crashed out on prime

So for now i have set everything back to normal and only set the cpu clock to x18 to give me 3.6 on stock volts till i can try work out what to do lol.

Dram frequency 535.8 MHz

Is that right ?
