xbox 360 games for 8yr old

My 8 year old plays:

Lego Harry Potter + all the other Lego games (Lego Indianna Jones 1 +2 etc..)
Toy Story 3 Video game
Guitar Hero games (on lowest setting without having the 5 chords)

from Xbox 360 Arcade

Worms
Sonic The Hedgehog

Also does 2 player co-op with me on Modern Warfare 2 :D but not for all obviously.
 
My 9 year old brother loves Beautiful Katamari. It's different but very addictive (even for me :D) and easy of course.

Lego games as mentioned are good as well like the Star Wars ones if he/she likes that, Harry Potter etc.
Maybe that pinjata game, however I haven't played it myself so can't say for sure.

he also likes sonic racers and mad tracks
 
Agree, Lego games, the other half and my self find them very enjoyable, even though we are in our mid 20's lol.

Other than that, Castle Crashers, which, again, my other half and my self love :D

In other words, you can play the games with your wee one rather than watch some dull childs game :D

My 3 year old and 7 year old love Dirt2 with the wheel (I got to 'do' the pedals) but they have both come 1st on some of the tracks on easy.

Yes I highly recomend this game for children - best played in the dark just before they go to bed. Should put them out like a light. 0o

I have just got hold of another 360 for the lounge just for the kids to play on,

I can also suggest

Spongebob games
Viva Pinyata (however it is spelt)
and all the above really

Anyhow yes can't recommend the lego games enough, and isn't there a sponge bob square pants game for xbox360? Bloke at work was going on about how his 5 year old boy was playing it.. Might be pap to us, but to kids these games can be great fun.

Lego Harry Potter is meant to be excellent going back to the lego titles..
 
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is superb.

Played through it on the Wii and sorely tempted to bang through it on the 360 sometime.
 
Definitely all the lego games and according to the daily mail all 8 year olds play grand theft auto games so you should probably get gta 4 too :p

my 5 and 9 year olds play this, although they play local multiplayer split screen and run around shooting each other. they have both complete the single player as well and they both seem pretty good at it to. :o
