wait till you see the fps in parts of cataclysm, its far more graphically heavier than Northrend in places.

I wonder if thats why there is no sanctuary city in Cata, although you could say the World Pillar is.
 
can someone upload the content of their realmlist.wtf file please? i messed mine up and can't login...
client is updated to 4.0.1 if it changes anything.

But I'm sure if you delete it you'd get a new one :)

Can you just buy Cataclysm and start playing or do i need to re-buy the original game + expansions + cataclysm?

Gave my account away years ago but there is no way i'll spend more than one full-price game + subs.
 
Extended maintenance noes! Just keeps trying to send me to Boulderfist now :(

Shame really, I'm almost at the point I have all my classes with one working spec/UI again. Just got to figure out what to do with the hunter again and they all have at least one spec I can use for HH.

The removal of badges is still causing much frustration though with "Contains no loot" message pumpkin. If only trade could work out why it says that and stop spamming :rolleyes:
 
A guildie just said the same thing.

Looks like it disconnects them but keeps the character logged on so you can't log back on to that character.

Yep, you need Original WoW + TBC + Wotlk + Cataclysm to play, then a sub :p

I can imagine a few months after cata they might make a new battle chest with WoW + TBC + Wotlk and possibly cata, seems silly to do it now though as they're making more money selling them individually, as people will pay it.

Could always invest in the current battle chest, only 15quid I think.

Overall to start from none of the games to cata would cost:

15 for Battle chest, 15 for Wotlk, 25 for Cata, 9quid months sub = 64quid! fair amount just to start playing again...
 
Battlechest includes wow, tbc and 30 days play time.
It cane be fiddles with tho ;)

Recommend a Friend - 10 day free trial.
Add the WoW Serial which adds 30 days.
Let the 30 days run out.
Use the free 10 day TB trial.
Let the 10 days run out.
Input TBC serial.
Use the 10 Day WOTlk trial.

for some reason my mate got an extra 10 days when he added the TBC key too.
so nearly 2 months of playtime.

Battlecehst is easy enought to find for a tenner.
Wotlk is a bit harder but 17 is the cheapets Ive ever found it
