Why won't 360 let me play Halo on VGA?

As thread title,

Downloaded the original Halo to play on my Dell 2007WFP and it says the VGA HD AV Cable doesn't support the PAL-50 setting :confused:

Has anyone encountered this and is there any way around this other than using a different cable?

Same here. I had to plug it into a TV with the normal 3 RCA/scart lead.

Hm. When it was first launched on XBL originals it had this problem, then MS patched and it worked fine.
But now, yup, back again.

Plug into your TV using the composite cable.

Check the system settings and it should be in there somewhere.

Then hook up via VGA again

Yep, some of the Originals suffer from it, some don't.

Anything with PAL 60Hz green is good for VGA.
