What Game Glitch Miffed You Off??

Anyone remember a game based on the Quake 2 engine called SiN? I remember the first boss you encountered just stood there and done nothing ! They got a patch out but it was 18mb. At the time it was the biggest game patch ever and everyone was moaning at the size of it.
:D

Ah, is that the game with the babe with huuuuuge knockers ....... goes off to Google to confirm.

[edit] Yes, I remember that game, but do I remember because of the game itself or the knockers, lol  :o :p [/edit]

Fallout 3, the last mission where the big robot (Prime) gives backup on the bridge, for some reason he got stuck a million times on the bridge needing a reload everytime.

he worked fine for me, but all that did was make me walk across the bridge with bugger all to do

Xenon 2. The first game I ever really played, back on the Tandy 1000 (an 086 processor).

I was only a little kid back then (probably 1990), and it was a 'tough' game, but I battled all the way through to the last part of the last level. But then - a crash. Every time, the game crashed at the same point. I could never finish it!

A few years later I played it on the Amiga 500 and finished it then, but it just wasn't the same :(

she was based on some real life glamour model wasn't she?

Dungeon Siege 2.

About half way through I encountered a bug where a bridge you have to cross isn't there. I found out after hours/days of head scratching and google'in that I had to go back around 10 hours of game play, do something slightly different then continue.

For me that signed the end of DS2 :(

How about the complete buggy mess that is Civ V? :p

Black and White had a fun bug where your creature gets shrunk on the last level. If you then tried to play another save or multiplayer, the creature remained shrunk. Again, old saves could not be fixed :(

I remember two from Soldier of Fortune, the first was on a mission in Iraq, there was a part where you had to climb in a tower and use a switch to open a door, but it was timed so you had to rush through, I pressed the switch and let the door go all the way to the top, let go and the door slammed down straight away. I tried again and again but nothing else would happen after that. I spent ages going back through the level to see if there was another way through. It happened all the time and it put me off playing the game, then one day it just worked randomly

The second one from that game was sometimes the graphics would mess up, for example the textures on the walls would change colour, or If I shot the limbs of any enemies instead of the blood being red it would be yellow or something.

Most recent one was Napoleon Total War, fought a battle I'd failed the first time, but this time won - it was quite lengthy, and at the point where the victory icon is supposed to pop up with a 'next' button, the game just froze.

Half Life always crashing when going up in the lift. FFVII crashing when doing a chocobo race at the flying saucer. Stopped me finishing both games. :/

Half Life always crashing when going up in the lift.

I can't remember precisely the order of events, but I think just after you fight all the soldiers in HL, you have to catch a lift.

This would glitch on me all the bloody time. Lost count how many times I had to fight those soldiers over and over and over again! :(

I've never encountered any game-breaking bugs as such. Only thing that springs to mind is Mafia 2. There's a mission involving repayment and you have two available options to get the money together. If you choose one of the options then you can't progress through the mission. You find this out after gathering all the money, very stupid. Only lost about an hour though.

Getting stuck behind a waist-high chest in Thief 3, about half an hour from the end. Still haven't finished it because of that, still too angry... :)

I tend to get stuck on/in/inbetween objects, i can remember getting stuck in KOTOR and going mental as i hadnt saved for hours and tried everything i could to free my self. I put this down to shoddy testing, thus being a bug ;)

Garage lock up in Forza 2.
In a good hopper having plenty of decent races, Go to change car & the game locks up needing a reboot & you lose the hopper.
On top of that i had to climb out of my cockpit to reboot the 360.:mad::mad:

Wrong section but it still boils my ****.

Wing Commander 3, it could never read from the 4th CD (just after the Behemoth is destroyed and you have to get some kind of mavity bomb to destroy Kilrah). I never got round to finishing that game... :(
