ati 6xxx series not going on sale tomorrow ?

Bit confused i thought the 6xxx series was going on sale tomorrow ?

Just spoke to the sales team at overclockers and they are saying it could be delayed upto 6 weeks ?

Which is a bugger wanted one tomorrow to go with my new build.

Or is this how it normaly works and i just jumped the gun ?

lol there is a communication problem in overclockers.co.uk. someone needs to get these guys up to date. should be on sale tomorrow or monday at latest

Cayman (6950/70/90) is probably 6 weeks away... Barts Pro/XT (6850/70) should be available tomorrow.

yea he said that they would normaly come up on his pc upto 2 weeks in advance and that it would probably go the same way the 5850 did.

I reiterated that it was the 6850 i was after.

I wouldn't be so quick to hand over your hard earned on a card that hasn't even properly reviewed yet it could turn out to be a lame duck.

its not that i am hyped its just that i have everything apart from a card atm and would have prefered to get one tomorrow.

I would get the gtx 460 but if i can get a better card for round the same price that would be better.

I will just ask again in the shop and see if there is any benchmarks tomorrow before i leave.
