No vendors are listed at the moment but they've been contacting the guy. I know of one that is going to. Small online lemon like place :)...or at least they want to.

A place that sells Xbox headsets like the turtle beach ones? If so I've used the place and will keep an eye out.

Yes that's the one. Most people in the UK seem like they are just going straight to the source but that will wind up very pricey. Customs charges etc.. But its probably going to be the only option for those that must have it straight away.

I'd like the old fart stripped on his Tmeb tag for hiding offline and pretending to go to bed early even though I see him checking xbox.com at 11pm.

Burn the witch, Madfruit too another girl that hides offline while 'playing with himself'.

Well the price hasnt been announced yet it may even be cheaper. But it seems those that want keyboard and mouse (which is a lot at this time with loads of people moving from PC or being ex PC gamers missing their preferred controls) are willing to pay whatever.

The XIM2 worked out at around £180 with custom charges and needed a PC and units that get put up in his shop go very quickly and usually end up on ebay for a higher price (which people pay).

People that buy this are people that are happy to spend £100 on headphones....£100 on a mixamp and they'll be happy to pay nearly £100 to get keyboard and mouse.

It wont be that you'll be able to pick one up on the highstreet but you can't with the mixamp either. Now the XIM2 was very popular but never mentioned on gaming forums that much. However already the XIM3 is being talked about left right and centre on loads of gaming forums, with most people hotly anticipating it. So its hard to say weather or not its going to be very mainstream. But certainly a lot more mainstream then the XIM2 which was fairly homegrown.. The guy is aiming to sell 100,000 units at least.

Are you kidding me? The number of people hacking to win before the clean up, they will be all over this. It will sell very very well as soon as word gets about I doubt they will be able to keep up with demand.

So you keep on saying,with "a lot of people want this" "forums left, right and centre are alive with chat about this", a Google search does not back this up, unless they are all secret hidden gaming forums.

Do you use XIM2 by any chance? I can't work out if you advocate this or not.

Well it gets mentioned and is known on gaming forums I've been on. MLG, Gamebattles, Astro, bungie , avforums which I've never seen the XIM2 mentioned on. Maybe "a lot of people" is a bit much :p but I have 5 ex-pc people on my friends list and my brother who's never owned a PC and all of them want it. So I'm kind of surround by people that want it which probably makes it feel like everyone is banging on about it.:)

I dont use any XIM and wont but I'm not totally against it. Its bound to happen really....I'd prefer it not to though as I prefer the comfort of console gaming but like to play competitively.

Last video was excellent. Good to hear they are sorting issues and tweaking/balancing it all. I change my previous opinion: the more I see, the more I want.

You've gotta be pretty, er, 'sad' or overly concerned with winning/having an unfair advantage to be spending £100 on an adapter so you can play with keyboard and mouse on a console. Jeez Louise.;)

Hah sadly I do that from bed to see who's online having fun :p I haven't hidden offline for a while.
