Some of you young guys can laugh but when I was in my twenties I could get an erection for hours and even bend an Iron Bar over it! Now I'm in my forties and it is impossible to do this any more, age has taken it's cruel toll and now my wrists are finally ****ed.

If somebody gave me a pill of any description without my knowledge (kosher or not) I would go ******* spastic, regardless of whether or not I had taken one before.

I don't think so. Some prescription only drugs have bad side effects on there own. Lethal ones if mixed with some other prescription drugs.
Some of the drugs I have to take mean my GP or Consultant has to check carefully what they prescribe.
then they would have to come at significant cost and be heavily taxed, otherwise we'd all end up paying for the idiot who didn't get his blood pressure checked before taking them and we have to waste loads of money treating him after his heart attack.

Opiates have side effects, including respiratory arrest if they were legalised then people would end up needing an ambulance. Whenever any doctor or ambulance staff gives morphine, narcan's always available to counter the effects if they're bad. Lidocaine can cause asystole, again, should that be available OTC?
What about alcohol? That can be pretty dangerous too when ingested in stupid amounts but people seem to think that should be the only legal drug!
Yes they should be available because the consequences of them being illegal are worse. In the case of viagra people buying them from dodgy online pharmacies.
You mean like alcohol, chloral, paracetamol, diclofenac and a million other drugs that don't require a prescription?
We already do anyway because people buy them from illegal sources.

I know a few people who use Viagra and they are in their late twenties.

This is true I'm a diabetic and one of the probelms you can get later in life is ED (along with lots of other really pleasant small vessel issues ranging from blindness to lossing limbs).
Years ago a fellow diabetic at work told me "get your claim in early for Viagra cause once you actually need it they will only give you enough pills for 1 shag a week you need to stock pile them"
I thought controling my blood sugar and not needing them later might be a better tactic though.
As for spiking peoples drinks, its beyond stupid. Do you know the medical history of your friends? Somoeone spiked me with speed once (used to be a freind but wasnt after this) and I took very very badly to it. Ambulance the lot.
I know a guy who has a heart condition and if someone spiked him with viagra it proablly wouldnt be good, most people dont know about his condition though.
Anyway why spike someone with Viagra? It doesnt give you a hard on you know? most likely effect would be their face going red.

This would be daft and very dangerous. There are very many dangerous medications around that need safe monitoring, or the condition they are used for itself need monitoring. The idea of letting Joe public with an Internet knowledge of medicine and pharmacology the ability to take what they want is crazy. Nearly as crazy as those who think spiking someone is a good idea
On a side note an awful lot of the recreational use of Viagra is placebo anyway and if you can get an erection normally it's a waste of time and money. You might think you were harder and lasted longer and felt like a stud. Your girlfriend might even tell you the same and say how amazing it was also, and we all know they never lie post coitally or fake it don't we?
Where have you been for the last 100 years where people have been freely buying drugs from drug dealers and online pharmacies?
