What are you guys going on about.. I've been a few times and wondered about by myself, never had any problems what so ever. Sure there are some dealers offering you things here and there but you just say no thanks and walk on, or simply ignore them completely.

They're just gullible. Their friend didn't get mugged...... he willingly handed over the money to one of the nice ladies in the windows..... and then made up a story when he felt disgusted with himself afterwards.
