Missus done for speeding x3 in a week!

First I've heard of someone being done by the SPEC, it must be nasty one on the A43 as I've never had a problem on the M1/M25.
 
She will only loose her license under the new drivers act

she will just need to get practicing now before the summons, get some driving lessons, and the test booked as soon as it gets taken at court.

She should have it back within a month. Get her to book some holiday off work and then take a week or twos unpaid leave.

Point is she wouldn't have been. There a lots of exits off of the A43 and people that are only on there for one or two junctions know they can hoon it without consequence.
 
Incorrect. That's why there's sets of cameras at every entry and exit - they all work together, and not just between the beginning, and the end ones.
 
hence the term AVERAGE speed camera, always makes me laugh when i see people brake just before them and speed up after them

Getting a solicitor will put the magistrates back up. Diamondmark learnt that one the hard way.

Get her to attend on her own, plead the poor little misguided ditsy woman and give them the puppy dog eyes and tell them how sorry she is.

Seriously, unless the police have stuffed up and the solicitor can get you off on a technicality, it will only make things worse.

As you already know her punishment - loosing her license, get preparing her to take it again. If you find out the court date with enough notice, you may even be able to book a test a week or two after she's due in court.

Money spent on making the magistrates throw the book at you by bringing a solicitor along would be better spent preparing to re-take the test with some refresher driving lessons.

New drivers
24. Drivers who incur six points or more during the two-year probationary period after passing the driving test will have their licence revoked automatically by the Secretary of State; they will be able to drive only after application for a provisional licence pending the passing of a further test.14
25. An offender liable for an endorsement which will cause the licence to be revoked under the new drivers’ provisions may ask the court to disqualify rather than impose points. This will avoid the requirement to take a further test. Generally, this would be inappropriate since it would circumvent the clear intention of Parliament.

I must agree with Mr LOL, with hindsight i dont think i would bother with a solicitor.
