Ordered something and got double through the post !!

Years ago i ordered a 512mb mmc? card for my nokia. Cost like £50 or something. Also ordered some sort of sd card at the same. Got two lots of the order. Was quite pleased :p

I got three printers from Amazon recently. Two arrived (in error of 1), I informed them of the mistake and asked for one to be collected but instead they sent another.

funnily enough, i stuck 'do you know what i mean' on the other day and it's actually a solid track, so was 'all around the world' the rest was way below par

Girl in the dirty shirt and Fade In-Out are two of my favourite ever Oasis songs!

That ones brilliant.

I don't ever get free stuff sent to me, I always seem to get sent the wrong thing then I send it back, then they re-send the wrong item again. Oh or it's faulty!

From amazon I got a £150 set of Ultimate Ears headphones instead of the £30 ones I wanted and I got the 42" version of the LCD TV instead of the 32" one I'd ordered from "a competitor". In both cases the companies never contacted me about the error.

Man some of you guys are lucky, my best was a lost shipment of a 100 cake of cd-r's and an ink cartridge that i rang up and complained about being a week overdue, they sent out a new order that day, and the next day two orders arrived one shipped two weeks ago and the other the day before. That was from the big river.

I ordered some disc brakes for my MTB a while back, ordered front 185mm Elixir R and rear 160mm Elixir R (yes I wanted to buy Hope but this just crept in under budget) they sent me the rear Elixir R but an Elixir CR Magnesium rear as well price difference of around £100.
I rang the company up, they gave me £20 credit and paid for shipping back of the wrong part. Fair enough. They shipped the correct brake, but turned out they sent the same expensive one again :D
So I rang them and explained that I think they have an issue with their stock system, they investigated and confirmed that they had been mis labelled, I sent the expensive brake back once more and finally got my correct brake :D

That's pretty much the only mis shipped item I've had.

Ordered a 30" wide photo of Elland road football ground to give my dad for his birthday once, got two through the post (albeit a month apart!) one for me one for him :D

I got 2 Peep Show series 1-5 box sets through the post once from a big online retailer. I think I still have the second somewhere in my room though as it was quite cheap anyway and I couldn't be bothered to sell it on, but who am I to complain! :D

I had a few faulty discs in a large DVD box set, so i contacted the retailer and arranged a replacement.

The replacement set didn't arrive, so I waited a couple of days and they sent out a second replacement set.
The second replacement set arrived, then about 3 days later the first replacement (that had been declared lost) arrived.

Cue me ringing up and getting a CS rep who was, I think rather surprised that I was ringing up to return the "lost" set rather than just keeping it (she was ready to issue a refund for the set).

My general policy is, that if it's a mistake I'll try and sort it, if it's a mistake and they keep messing up I may reconsider but i'll always try to get it sorted, especially if the retailer has generally been ok.

Last Christmas I got our daughter a Black and Decker car hoover from Argos. It came in a plain cardboard box, so I thought nothing of it and just took it home for my wife to wrap up. Come Christmas Day daughter opens the plain cardboard box and out come two B&D car hoovers, both in retail boxes.

They must have got a pallet of theses boxes in and just thought that's how they were to be sold.
