Best band/song of the 80s and 90s

I have a passion for music from the 80s and 90s. My fav bands are like GnR, Bon Jovi, whitesnake the list goes. What are yours or fav song fellow 80s and 90s lovers?

I'm a firm believer that Husker Du were the best band of the 80s. As for the best song, I have no idea. And for the best band of the 90s, equally no idea.
