Travelling to work

Over £200 pm on fuel - but I drive everywhere for work and am Regionally based. I get my mileage paid so it's not as bad as it sounds! ;)

£34 for 30 days travel on the tram, (which I use for getting into town in the evenings / weekends as well) and ~£360/year for my rail season ticket.

I could pay a bit more for a tram and bus monthly ticket and do without the rail ticket but that would mean using a electronic travel card on the bus/tram which, in my experience are very unreliable, and the bus service is not as reliable as the train (most of the time). Plus my office is right by my destination station.

£50pm (roughly... I do other things in between, dont just suck out the "work petrol" when I get home and put 'party time' petrol in then swap back to go to work....) although I have to spend about the same again on parking, 300 people working in the building, parking provided for 15... so the people who get paid the most have to pay the least. On street for the rest of us.

WIll be buying a bike and cycling more often soon though.

Costs me roughly £120.00 PM in fuel, (crappy 1.0L Eco box) travelling 36 miles a day to and from work + running around so it's not too bad I suppose. Using public transport is out of the question due to my shift work.

I'm expecting this to increase dramatically in the new year as I'm looking for another car, there's no way I'm spending another year driving this ****** little car up and down the M8 - I suppose comfort and style does have a cost ;)
