COD4 MW2 mod

If you think COD4 isn't much the same you must be playing a different verison of it to me. Many COD4 servers are full of spawn killers and noob tubers and I doubt the age demographic is any different to MW2. You also get cheaters on COD4, it isn't immune just because of dedicated servers.
MW2 doesn't suffer from spawn rape because spawns have been improved over MW1 plus the lower player count means it is more a game of skill and less of spawn rape and spam.
Or maybe you just can't handle the truth!
I've played both MW1 and MW2 extensively, I don't work for the publisher so I have no axe to grind and I think the criticism of MW2 online is highly exaggerated.
Play hardcore, there is an absolute world of difference from normal servers, no kids, good players, 32 people at least all battling it out.
That isn't an excuse for a lower player count, that sounds pathetic.

mw2 was balls, they ruined the best mode of all competetive games "search and destroy" it's stupid, you play like 3rounds and then its a new map, madness.
Saying that when it works multiplayer is quite slick and the game works but it's a dirty console game at the end of the day but all this has been said before.

It is a pretty awful game.
Most servers on COD4 are hardcore. I doubt you've played it if you think hardcore is free of the things I mentioned.
Yep, you obviously monitor what i'm playing online.
Obviously i have experienced the things I'm talking about, but rarely, and it's very easy to ignore it or join another server. On MW2, it's everywhere.
I think maybe once in a game of Free for all i've spawned right in front of somebody, you make it out like it happens every time you spawn.
Used to be in a clan, played it for hundreds, probably thousands of hours. I think I know what i'm talking about, obviously I don't play with idiots, which you seem to go looking for.
Well then, you must suck if you die in the first place...

I dont understand why people are so down on MW2 either, after Dirtydog started playing it, I gave it a whirl online, having been put off by all the comments about how terrible it is.
Im now totally addicted to it, and its the first online shooter Ive played for any length of time since counterstrike. I cant even say ive seen many people accused of cheating, and only once have i seen a guy blatently wall hack me from the kill cam.

I'm at a loss when it comes to comments like this... Modern Warfare 2 had one of the best single player campaigns I've played, and the multiplayer is incredibly fun, as well. I've experienced less than ten hackers in the tens of hours I've played the game, not exactly 'rife with hackers'?
You seem to just be wheeling out generic criticisms that would be instantly dispelled, were you actually to play the game.
"OMGZ, no dedicated servers means laag!" Actually no, I've not had any noticeable lag in any of the games I've played.
"OMG, it'z full of noobz that can't play" I've always experienced healthy competition, albeit with a few whiners along the way.
"Loads of haxxors!" Nope.
So many people seem to have a vendetta against the game because of the fact it doesn't support dedicated servers, get over it... I mean, really...
