Hi,

Got a set of 18" Superleggies, with nearly new Goodyear Eagle F1's fitted. All four of them are scuffed to some extent, (Some midly, some moderately) but not gouged/ dented etc. There is also some minor finish bubbling on a couple of them.

How much would you say they are worth S/H?

Thanks

I have 17" Ultraleggeras and even with tyres fitted, they're similar weight to a 16" Hairpin wheel (from an MG ZR etc) without a tyre fitted.

I paid £400 for my set of Ultralegs with knackered tyres. The wheels were absolutely mint however. Not a mark on them at all. I'd probably say £400-£450 for a damaged set of Superlegs depending on how much use the tyres have seen.

I paid £35 per wheel for 4x100 ET37 17" 7J Superlegs.

It does however depend on the size/fitment. I know that 4x108 ET16 Superlegs to suit Peugeot 306 etc will fetch more like £250-300 per set.

I got some 17s in 4x108 (Ford fitment) with good (as in tread left, not quality :p ) budget tyres, but in need of a refurb for £100 on ebay - they were listed as "alloy wheels". Think I got a bargain though.

225/40/18 innit?

are these actually light weight at all?

Yup, about 8 kilos sans tyre for an 18incher which isn't half bad for a relatively cheap wheel. I know the 15s are just about 5 kilos a wheel or there abouts.

Not much, they aren't special unless they're the split version.

Not special, but usually pretty popular due to the relatively low weights per £.

Do you think if I sell @ £525 with the tyres I am getting a good price for them?

just been on google to look at images of them on mk4 golfs. why on earth do people put fancy wheels etc on a car at standard skyscraper ride height???

i had the same price idea as para and i know if i fitted them id have a world of arch clearance issues
