Dodgy call from 'Natwest'

I keep getting calls from a number claiming to be Natwest on 008453510043, but when checking with Natwest they have said that it's not from them. The strange bit is that the automated message used my name and then asked for my DOB (at which I hung up). So just really a heads up and don't enter the information when they request it.

I usually just leave the phone propped up against the computer speaker when they call, play something nice and bassy for them...
:D

2 things
google the number
youre not the only one
it is a scammy number
yes they can have your name
usually because you signed up somewhere with something and they purchased the accounts
it would be impossible to tell where
however it will stop soon.
dont worry about it
dont give them the pleasure of good music

gooooooooooooooddd evening sir, I am calling from your bank

It may have actually been Natwest. The level of incompetence I've encountered from them is disgusting. Probably thread worthy, but that's going to wait until the courts are finished.

I fully believe they're capable of phoning up and asking for my date of birth. For that matter I believe they'd call people and read out account numbers down the phone as an alternative to security questions.

Good grief.

Why do you keep writing like this?

My flatmate kept getting them, she went into Natwest and they said it had nothing to do with them so beware. If you actually follow it all the way through nothing happens anyway, it just asks you for your name, DOB and that you have an outstanding charge on your account that you need to sort out.
