HTC Desire HD (Ace)

I like the look of the Windows 7 phones almost wondering if I should have looked at one of those all that would worry me is once the novelty of W7 mobile wears off is the system going to be annoying.

An email I received from them this morning said they were hoping to get all back orders out before that date, don't personally see it happening myself though..
 
cancelled the extras cpw tack on: gadget help line pfff, phone insurance, pass, never lost or damaged a phone in all the years i've had one.

Special delivery for me tends to come separately but I have had letters delivered by the postman before that are SD, did they not give you a tracking code so you can see if its out for delivery.
 
Just got my DHD today, coming from an iPhone 3GS. So far I'm very impressed, the screen is so much bigger and better imo. The interface is very slick and better than on the iPhone, definitely glad I got this (still not had a chance to test battery).

Someone was saying earlier about syncing their iphone and DHD contacts, I powered up my DHD and part of the process was a wizard to connect the two over bluetooth and sync contacts. Worked ok for me.

One question, I can download photo's from Facebook and Flickr with the inbuilt apps but there doesn't seem to be any provision for Picasa? Wierd as that is a Google service, I can upload to Picasa but there is no app to view my existing albums, does anyone know if there is an app I can add to do this?
 
Try the 3D Gallery app. I haven't got the Market version installed as the custom rom I use for my Hero has it built in but it looks exactly the same. It automatically grabs all my Picasa web albums like they're natively sat on my phone I love it.

That was the first one to show up on a search, seems to have had good ratings and does what you need it to :) Appbrain is a great site where you can browse the market on your computer. There is also an app that can sync your apps to the website incase you want to wipe your phone or just move to a different one, all the good stuff.

I can recommend Appbrain too. The "Fast web installer" app on the Market lets you install apps from the Appbrain website to your device in one click as well, it's basically how the Market should be.

Assuming it's like my Hero, just add widgets onto the desktop..

e.g. Add->Widget->Settings->Mobile Network

and while you are at it, GPS/Wifi/Bluetooth ones as well..

When you press them, they toggle On/Off, so it's easy to do, and on the Hero, I can get 5 days of light use out of it, but usually 2-3 days of moderate use.. If I turn on Wifi/Mobile Data, it needs to be charged every day and a half at best.
