5p/L off V-Power 12th Nov

Which is probably a ruse.

You'll have to go to your local garage to find out, and if it isnt running the promo, you'll probably buy some anyway.

I notice they wrote: 'While stocks last' - that says it all to me, best get out clause ever.

Still I'll pop in anyway, the beast always needs a drink.

Oh good, might be able to get some V-Power for a half-decent price for a change.

Damn turbocharged Japanese cars which prefer their higher octane fuel!

I'm debating whether it's worth using V-Power in the Z3.
Shell is the cheapest petrol station near me, but it's either V-Power or 95.
The difference is only £5 a tank..

not sure I cba, assuming the tank is bone dry on 12th Nov it'll only save me £2 on 40 litres. Would pay for my lunch I guess.

Thanks though spaz:p

I will take the Pug down then go home and get the GTR fill that up, stretch its legs and come back for some more i think.

My Vpower card loves me :)

i hope it will be displayed on the street sign and not after you have bought it.. ill diary it anyway :)

Do they send you a v power card? The lad in the garage said I had to order it, but all I could see was a registration form for my existing card :(

i ran on normal RON95 in the 2009 ST3, ran it dry and juiced her up on a tank of this V+Power.

Normal 95 - 22MPG
V+ - 14MPG! :O how does this work, same driving conditions, same route, same everything, perhaps a problem with her? low air in her boots?

I can't speak for petrol per se, but if it's anything like VPower diesel it uses Gas To Liquid (GTL) as a percentage of the fuel. This has a lower calorific density to normal fuel and as such returns lower MPG. Shell make vague reference to this on their promo site as well. It's lean, it's greener, but they never claim it increases MPG (unlike their regular 'FuelSave' fuel).

because your 22mpg average was over a longer length of time, so averaged out higher (ie you probably had a lot of 28mpg trips mixed in with those 14mpg trips), where as 14mpg is averaged out over what? the last 30miles?

or are you talking about instant MPG?
