That one is discontinued but Alpine do a whole range of IDA- ipod HU's which are great as long as you don't need a built in CD player.

My IDA-X305 does, as does the newer 305s.

Could also try the new Pioneer 8200 range? As long as you don't need a CD player?

I have this unit as well. It's brilliant, however I was a bit gutted about how cheap and plastic the actual fascia was when I got it.

Great unit though.

dale do you own the alpine? does it take the ipod properly or through usb?

the pioneer does look rather sexy.

The Alpine units decode the audio vs. Other head units which rely on the iPod decoding the audio and outputting via line out. I had an IDA-X100 and it sounded great decoding apple lossless files on my iPod Classic. Navigation was easy via the 320x240 colour display (Same as iPod Classic resolution)
