Despite the bad reviews it got, it's definitely worth playing.
Both CoD and MoH have their qualities, although different from each other. Single player is pretty much the same length for both games but I enjoyed MoH's more, it just seemed more realistic and fun to play. One problem is that it's far too easy, even on hard.
As for multiplayer, if you're looking for a fast-paced run and gun type of FPS such as CoD, then this might not be for you. It's a much more tactical based game, requiring you to think ahead if you want to survive more than 10 seconds. Really enjoyable though and if you do it right, think ahead, and not think you're invincible, you can end up doing really well. Needs more unlocks though unfortunately.
Oh yeah, and it's easy trophies/achievements as well, if you're into that sort of thing.

Obviously all opinions are going to be different, but coming from someone who has played most if not all online PS3/XBOX FPS+3rd person since the original socom,
this game is rubbish.

Multiplayer is dominated by people camping 600miles from play with a sniper rifle racking up points and not getting involved in any objectives and expect to be dropped in half a second in your own spawn most of the time by pretty much anything and everything.
not to mention if you get so much as hit in the big toe with a sniper round you're dead.

thats put me off a purchase then, the worst thing about CoD is the sniping on some maps (and random grenade tossers
)i was tempted and would have picked it up if it wasnt so close to the COD release
Single Player is good, although it ends suddenly, and only takes about 3 or 4 hours to complete. I didn't get on with the MP beta on PC either, although obviously that's a beta. I would wait until it gets a lot cheaper, it's worth a tenner or 15 quid, not more than that.
The MP will probably die when Black Ops comes out, it's not good enough for people to keep playing.

i prefer it over cod but not bc2, i only ever play combat mission which is a team objective based game which usually lasts around 20mins. i'd rather play a team game rather than running and gunning like a lunatic in cod (killstreaks put me off cod big time)

I thought it was amazing and the mp was just what I wanted
Well that's down to personal preference, can you justify paying £40 or less (I've seen it for £35 - £40; no-one pays more than forty pounds for a game.....) for a short game, which you can then trade back in? I can, but then again I am very very rich and sometimes have to give money away so that I can fit in to my mansion.

bought the game for £28 on release with the microsoft points offer keep it for two weeks
traded it in for £30
did like the single player but very short
everyone goes on about it being a cod rip off but what was cod in the first place?????

Done the same thing but traded it in for fallout and paid the extra it was worth it in that aspect but no way would I pay more than £15 for MOH the bugs and glitches were quite stressful at times!

I regret spending £30 on this game
Weird I never had any problems with Single player on teh 360, some frame rate drops during teh Apache mission but that was it.
And thought some of teh scene in helicoptsers where stunning to watch, sotry was better than COD, which was so far fetched you couldnt even use it in a movie.
MP tho is a mess, but Ea have acknowledged a lot of it, so free maps and more games modes coming out soon, as well as nerfing the snipers and sorting some of teh other weapons out, but just what was the point of a Beta so ahead of release if this wasnt sorted?..saying that MW2 had it fair share of glitches and problems when it was first released so cant hold to much against them.
THo I got teh Soundtrack for it, one of the best game soundtracks for a very very long time.
Also when does the BF3 Beta get under way?
