Game Rig, Best bang for £?

First off, I do not think that the GTX 470 would be on the list of things to get if you want a 'best game rig as cheap as possible'.

The GPU will very much be decided by both your requirements, as in what games you play, and what resolution and settings you play on.

Furthermore, it is very hard to gauge what you should get if there is no budget to go by. We could take the processor and the GPU as staples and build around that, but that will just be a generic build with solid components using the weekly deals and what is known to be bang for buck hardware in general.

As mentioned.
GTX470 and HD6870 are names that generally apply to £700 + budgets - thats not a cheap rig by any means.
If you want something that will play all modern games at a high fps then i3, Gigabyte GA-H55-UD2H, 4GB 1600MHz RAM and a GTX460 / HD6850 is the cheapest and best bang for buck.

Want to get the 24"full hd benq led, so playing on full hd resolution.
All new games should run as good and smooth. Mafia 2, gta 4, cod mw2, bf bc2 and so on.
The budget for pc about 500-600 + led.

Mybe yea get x2 and unlock to quad?

Something like this would do the job, pre-overclocked if you don't fancy doing it yourself and pretty quick. Could replace with a 470GTX if you prefer.
