Anyone excited for windows phone 7?

I got my Orange phone today, called up to cancel with T-mobile and now have one coming from them instead (returning my Orange phone unused).

They now have the phone in stock (112 left), and mine will be coming tomorrow.

I am excited.

Are you talking about the Omnia 7?
If so then hopefully I'll get mine too, although I'm not holding my breath.;)

Ah ok, I assume a 2 year contract then?:(

Sadly Orange do suck in terms of offers with 18months so its a 2 year contact, however.....

With the £140 cashback and also the low monthly cost of £22.50 per month I can easily lookforward to possibly affording a new phone 12months down the line and buying Sim Free and continuing with the orange deal until my upgrade.

That's the way I'm looking at it anyways :D

Which mobile is that? Also do you know if they have any other windows 7 mobiles?

Just spoken to someone else at T-mobile - apparently they have a problem with the packaging and they have sent them all back. There are none available and the guy in retentions shouldn't have sold me one, it will be at least a week until it is available again.

What is wrong with these people??

See my above post before getting excited.

Im not going for the Omnia, had a play with it and didnt like the build (screen was amazing though). Now if they had the Mozart or the HD7 it would be a different matter.. So au revoir Tmobile I think.

Well jump in quick for the Mozart if you fancy it with the £140 cashback from quidco as that ends on sunday ;)

I got my Omnia free on an 18 month contract. So, I can upgrade in 15 months. They point blank refused to entertain any 12 month contracts when I spoke to them. They are apparently "no longer viable".

15 months for a smartphone is not too long a period. Obviously there will be changes and progression in that time, but my Omnia 7 will still be doing all the stuff I need :)

Already an Orange customer?

Thing is its a new deal for me so didn't exactly have any negotiation space :( lol!

Might be a dumb question but can anyone with a hd7 tell me the quick way to switch it to silent mode please?

Spoke to "buymobilephones" about the T-mobile omnia's they say they got their allocation but and I quote "T-mobile are having software problems" :/
