Very confident about Cayman

Fairly confident that Cayman will perform well, considering the bias of the below source.
Hope we don't see Fermi style TDP though...

"We have received some new information about Cayman, claiming that the new GPU will end up big and hot, which is not surprising as it is the biggest GPU that AMD has ever made. The 9800pro was the first ever card i bought and what a card it was in its day all games maxed no problem. This card would have to be something really special to be classed in the same bracket as the 9700/9800. I can't see how amd would get so much performance unless they were able to bring there full next gen to the 40nm process. There was a bit in a semi accurate article when charlie said this card is not going to be what people think it is.

Well that chip package is a little bigger than I expected it would be. I can't imagine that thing being very cheap - but by that token, I bet it has a fair few shaders.

Edit: derp nevermind that looks about the same as Cypress's.
